As a software engineer I appreciate good software tools. In particular, I appreciate benefitting from some of the many excellent free tools I use. On this site I will share some thoughts and experiences with some of these free tools.

I will also list some of the sites I maintain - although I am not  a web designer (nor a graphic designer), I do help out a couple of groups I am connected with by doing basic web sites. I will add notes on some of the problems I had to solve along the way.
